A Welcome Message From Rector of Universitas Indonesia.

Prof. Ari Kuncoro, S.E., M.A., Ph.D.

Professor Ari Kuncoro received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from Brown University in 1994. Since then he joined the Universitas Indonesia as a lecturer in their Faculty of Economics. In 2009, he was promoted to become an economics professor in this university. Throughout his career, he holds several other appointments. Among others are Visiting Research Professor at large at Brown University (USA) from 2003 till 2013, Visiting Scholar at the International Center for the Study of East Asian Development (Japan) in 2006, Visiting Scholar at the Australian National University (Australia) in 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2011 and Visiting Fellow at the Royal Netherland Institute for South East Asian and Caribbean Studies in 2008. He was also consultant to World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
